The Japanese concern Yamaha is one of the largest in the world. A number of its divisions are engaged in the production of high-speed high-speed motorcycles, snowmobiles and boats, as well as equally high-quality audio components. But few people know that the company is actively cooperating with automobile concerns and even developing its own supercars.

The history of the company's appearance goes back to the end of the 19th century, when the Japanese entrepreneur Thorakusu Yamaha created his own company for the repair of medical instruments. One of the clients, drawing attention to the punctuality and accuracy of Yamaha in the repair of products, asked the master to repair his reed organ - the harmonium. Yamaha agreed and provided the refurbished device to the owner, and after that, he decided to create his own sample organ. He created a musical instrument by hand, based on a design that he had previously repaired. After a series of failures, his organs were recognized by society and enjoyed success in Japan and abroad.

Already in 1902, the company began producing pianos, and later, using skills in woodworking, organized the production of furniture. In 1921, by order of the Japanese government, Yamaha began producing wooden propellers for Japanese aircraft, subsequently moving on to the manufacture of metal propellers. Before the war, the company began producing its own line of guitars, and in 1955, thanks to the accumulated experience in metalworking and industrial production, the Yamaha Motor Company division was created, the first of which was the Yamaha YA-1 motorcycle. It was with him that the modern history of the Yamaha motorcycle brand, known throughout the world, began.
